Overnight Chia Oats
These oats have become one of my favorite breakfast items because they are healthy, loaded with protein, easy to prep and quick to grab in the morning. No mess!
I don’t love cooking and cleaning the kitchen first thing in the morning but I do know I need a high-protein breakfast to fuel my days with these little tots!
BONUS: both my kiddos also love them!
I love an extra drizzle of honey and fresh blackberries or frozen raspberries!
Here are my favorite Weck Tulip Jars to prep and store these oats in. I typically batch 4-6 at a time as they will last 5 days in the fridge!
I forgot to mention these little cups of oats clock in around 40 grams of protein!
OVERNIGHT CHIA OATS
INGREDIENTS
2/3 cup spouted rolled oats, my personal favorite
2 scoops Simply Tera Vanilla Bourbon Protein Powder
1 heaping tablespoon chia seeds
1/2 cup Oat Milk
1/4 water
DIRECTIONS
Mix together the oats, protein power, and chia seeds in a 12-16ox container. Add the milk and water. Mix well.
Cover and place in fridge overnight.
Stir and enjoy topped with fresh berries and option honey!
These will keep 5 days in the fridge, so make a batch to simplify your mornings!
