Homemade Granola Bars
Ditch the prepackaged, store-bought granola bars and nourish your littles with these incredibly easy homemade granola bars!
Sweetened with honey, these are a snack you can feel great about your littles eating.
Homemade Granola Bars
INGREDIENTS
2 cups creamy natural peanut butter
1 cup cup honey
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon sea salt
5 cups sprouted rolled oats
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
1/3 cup pepitas or shredded coconut
DIRECTIONS
Line an 9x13 baking pan with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, stir together the peanut butter, honey, vanilla, and salt, until smooth and combined.
Add the oats, chocolate chips and the pepitas (or coconut). Stir, stir, and stir some more to combine.
Press firmly into the pan.
Chill for at least 1 hour in the fridge before slicing into bars.
Store bars in the fridge.
